The Delegation of Finnish Academies of Science and Letters established in 1976 is a joint organ of The Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, and the Finnish Academies of Technology. It consists of five representatives from both the Academy and the Society and three members nominated by the Academies of Technology. The Delegation works in close collaboration with ICSU and its member organizations, as well as with other international scientific institutions and promotes interdisciplinary scientific activities and discussions on a national level.
